    Muchyate sarvapaapebhyo vishnulokam sa gacchati.

    The one who remembers Ganga even when hundreds of miles away from Her, and repeats ‘Ganga’ thrice is cleansed of all his sins and goes to Vishnulok after death.

  2. Krute tu sarva theerthaani, Tretayam Pushkaram param,
    Dwapare tu Kurukshetram Kalau Ganga Visishyate

    In Krutha Yuga all holy spots on the earth are spots of pilgrimage which have equal importance; in Treta Yuga #Pushkara Theertha has added importance; in Dwapara Yuga #Kurukshethra has added significance, whereas, in Kali Yuga, #GANGA spots are beyond comparison.

    द्वापरे तु कुरुक्षेत्रं कलौ गंगा विशिष्यते ।।

    ಕೃತೇ ತು ಸರ್ವತೀರ್ಥಾನಿ ತ್ರೇತಾಯಾಂ ಪುಷ್ಕರಂ ಪರಮ್ ||
    ದ್ವಾಪರೇ ತು ಕುರುಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಂ ಕಲೌ ಗಂಗಾ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಯತೇ ||

    కృతే తు సర్వతీర్థాని త్రేతాయాం పుష్కరం పరమ్ ||
    ద్వాపరే తు కురుక్షేత్రం కలౌ గంగా విశిష్యతే ||

    kṛte tu sarvatīrthāni tretāyāṃ puṣkaraṃ param ||
    dvāpare tu kurukṣetraṃ kalau gaṃgā viśiṣyate ||
