DharmaRaja kruta Sri DurgaStavam (VirataParva) In the Epic Mahabharatha Yudhistira (Dharma Raja) and Arjuna pray to Goddess Durga and recite Durga Stothra on two different occasions. Before entering into Viraatanagara for commencing their Agnaathavaasa, Dharmaraja prays Goddess Durga with a stothra which is popularly known as Dharmaraja Krutha Durgaastavam that appears in Viraataparva of the epic Mahabharatha. Pleased with the prayers made by Dharmaraja, Goddess Durga appears before him and assures him that whoever prays her with this prayer sloka with sincere devotion, their sins will get diluted, will be blessed with longevity, bestowed with good health, progeny, wealth and prosperity, get rid of troubles from enemies.
