Sri Vijayeendra Theertharu was a prominent Madhwa Saint who lived in 15^th century AD. He was Parama Guru of Saint Sri Raaghavendra Swamy of Mantralayam (Vijayeendra karaabjottha Sudheendra Varaputrakah) and was disciple of Saint Sri Vyaasaraajaru. His Moola Brundavana is at Kumbhakonam in Tamil Nadu. His Aaraadhana is held every year on Jyeshta Bahula Trayodasi. Durithaapahara Stothram also known as Paapa Vimochana Stothram composed by Saint Sri Vijayeendra Theertharu is a popular prayer that can be read everyday along with Sri Raaghavendra Stothram. This prayer Stothra is believed to act as a redressal for sins committed and whoever recites this with sincere devotion receive divine Grace of the supreme Lord Sri Hari.
