    If more than one of the above mentioned occasions occur (coincide) on the same day, Tharpana should not be given twice as the Parvakala accordingly supersedes in the ascending order of...
    Amaavaasya,
    Uttarayana/Dakshinayana,
    Eclipse (Grahana),
    Ardhodhaya/Mahodaya
    in order of their significance and merits. Logic is, on a single day tharpana should not be given more than once.

    Namaste Nirikhi Krishna Bhagavan,
    I am not an Indian thus I have the following question: Why do you call Krishna always Krushna in your blog? In some other words you change the i to u as well.
    Is this to confuse foreigners??? Thank you for your answer.

      Actually Lord to be pronounced as Krushna (कृष्ण) not as Krishna

      This means complete worldwide literature is wrong.

      'Karshatheethi Krushnah' meaning the one who has the character, capacity and capability of attracting others with his beautiful, charming, delightful, every smiling and fascinating figure.

      Krushna meaning dark in colour or all attractive. In the word Krushna, Krush refers to everlasting (Saaswatha) and Na refers to Sath swaroopa. Krushna means Sat-Chit-Ananda, complete and blissful happiness.

      In colloquial usage of English language it has become practice to write as KRISHNA. Even then it should be pronounced as Krushna not as Krishna. In Sanskrit it is written as Krushna (कृष्ण)
