Triphala - The wonder drug of Ayurveda

In Aayurvedic medical science, health disorders are mainly attributed to three defects (doshas) in the human body known as Tridosha; Vaata (airy or wind related); Pitta (bilious/bile related) and Kapha (phlegm related). This is the central concept on which treatment is based in Aayurvedic medicine. If there is an imbalance in these three elements (doshas) there will be a related health disorder.
