I am K.Venkatramana Rao (incidentally) a retired senior Manager from a nationalized bank; Next month, I along with 39 (both Males and females) mostly 60 pair proposed to visit Mathru Gaya being a part of our tour program. I came across your blog which was very informative. As a Madhwa bandhu I wanted to write this.

I find your blog fascinating and informative, very erudite. I also see from your blogs that you tend cover a lot items of interest to Madhwas. I presume you are a Madhwa. I am a Madhwa Desastha speaking Tanjore Marathi. I wonder if you too speak Tanjore Marathi. The reason I am asking this is to let you know that I am writing the first ever dictionary of Tanjore Marathi and am looking out to erudite gentlemen who could contribute in this project. You can look-up my blog www.vishnughar.blogspot.com where I have explained about my project "Dakshini Marathi Punaruddharini" under which as a first step I am in the process of uploading the TM Dictionary. I will consider it an honour to hear from you.

I just visited your blog - as I clicked Google on the stories of Ganesha - since I was asked to give a short talk on Shree Ganesha. First of all! my thanks for educating the public. I enjoyed reading the God symbolism of Ganesha in your blog. I intend to read some of your other articles, slowly without becoming a member to twitter, if I can. Just for info. I teach vedanta on behalf of Chinmaya Mission, here in Virginia area - some of my writings are in the website www.advaitaforum.org I could not resist sending a note of this thanks after reading your blog.

I have referred your blog several times and liked the clear meaning of our Hindu spirituality. My guru's teachings have always helped me to follow faithful and spiritual life. Your intent of spreading it via blog posting has encouraged me to write this mail.

I happened to come across your blog when I was surfing info for Solar Eclipse that is to occur on 15th January. It was quite lucid and out of curiosity I read your profile as well.
